As you know, there are many stories and now even TV series that tell of all the problems people run into when they undertake a project of this scale.  Here at Horizon Pacific Contracting , we have developed a system that will take the guesswork out of building your dream home. This system is called the Design – Build System.

What Is Design Build?

It has been our experience that many homeowners approach a designer, architect or builder as a first step in a custom home. Yet , this is where many of the problems begin. Cost overruns and misunderstandings result from a builder quoting a homeowner a price per sq/foot without any blueprints on which to actually base the price. Furthermore, an architect or designer may develop an expensive set of blueprints that do not fit your budget. This in turn, results in many costly revisions by the designer before a budget can be met.

Here at Horizon Pacific Contracting we do things a little differently.  Horizon is bonded and is a licensed builder through the Home Owners Protection Branch of British Columbia. This in conjunction with our Design-Build System takes into account almost every foreseeable problem before you commit yourself to costly blueprints or builder's contracts.
